Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is fourth in the Roberts generation living in Atlanta, beginning with her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Early on, her father was interested in theatre. As a student at Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University as well as elsewhere in Atlanta. The air force was drafted in the year 1953. While being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, he was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was an air force member as well. The couple got married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. The year 1957 was the year they were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. In 1960, the couple moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local kids' Saturday morning television program Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it ran for six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also named Julie) at the time.
